It seems to be a noticeable difference. How it works is that you can first curl your eyelashes for 10 seconds each eye with an eyelash curler. I have to admit, I have never in my life used one before. I went out and purchased one just for this product because I heard it worked better for more noticeable results.

The next step is optional. Some people do this step and others don't. I haven't tried myself what my outcome was without the mascara on first but I was told it works very well either way. But if you choose to, just apply a light layer of your own everyday mascara. Let that dry. Then take the transplanting gel and apply that to your eyelashes like you would mascara. Make sure you are applying a nice solid coat. Quickly take the fibers wand and brush them onto the wet gel. Apply them to the tips of your lashes. If you apply them too far toward your eye, the fibers start to fall off. So to avoid that, just stick with the tips and you should have no problems. You will start to notice your lashes looking longer. Apply the transplanting gel once more to secure the fibers. Repeat as many times as desired. You must do each eye separately in order to make sure the gel doesn't dry too quickly.
