DIY Honey & Yogurt Face Mask

I don't' know about you, but I love pampering myself. Though I must say, I don't do it nearly as much as I should or would like to. But when I get the chance to, you better believe I love it and take full advantage.

One thing I love is making my own beauty pampering products. Not only are they a lot less costly to make yourself, but also so much better for you than store bought products that contain so many harmful chemicals and ingredients. I have been using natural products on my face and body for many years now. I will never go back to what I used to use. I said goodbye to them all.

Now I use things that I can find in my kitchen and things that I could eat and not feel poisoned by. So the other night, my daughter and I had a mother/daughter facial mask making night. We made our own honey and yogurt masks. If you would like to see my other facial mask I have done in the past, click HERE

If you would like to make your own, here's what you need to get started:
Now I don't measure ingredients. I just go with the flow with these products.

STEP ONE:

STEP TWO:

STEP THREE:
Apply to a clean face

STEP FOUR:
Leave on for 30 mins and wash off with warm water.

STEP FIVE:
Apply the apple cider vinegar to a cotton pad and rub on face as an astringent. Some people find the vinegar too harsh straight and so mixing with water is a fix to calm it down. I apply it straight because I have an obsession with vinegar and just love it. I'm strange like that LOL

Here is why I ditched the store bought skin care products and started using more natural alternatives:
