I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween last night. I was worried because of the rain and cold, we weren't going to be able to go out. But somehow, it stopped raining in time for Trick-or-Treating to begin. Which was perfect. So we kind of got ready at the last minute since we didn't think we were going to be able to go out.
I don't have any photos of the kids in their costumes because we were running out the door to meet up with a friend and her son to go around and collect candy together. But Natalya was Laguna Blue from Monster High and Reg was a little dinosaur.
I did however, get to take some photos of us getting to carve our pumpkins. Every year, I seem to pride myself on our pumpkins. It's my favorite part. However I can't take any credit cause my husband is the creative mastermind behind the carving. I just pick the designs.
Here is Natalya getting to help her daddy for the first time doing the pumpkins. She was so excited about gutting it out. And then I made a sign for the door for the Trick-or-Treaters.

I think our pumpkins turned out pretty good this year. Natalya picked out her design this time. She chose Clawdeen Wolf from Monster High and I chose a Ninja Turtle for Reg's pumpkin. Then the husband went and did his magic.
Here are the pumpkins what they look like in the light and in the dark:

Not too shabby huh? I think he did a good job. So that was pretty much our Halloween. I didn't get to do my costume like I wanted to this year. So I didn't go as anything. But the costume I had in mind was really awesome and the prefect pregnancy costume too.
I was glad that they decided not to have school today. It was nice the school district closed schools today. However, there are a million things to do and seems like no time to do it. Isn't that how it always goes? But oh well. That's ok. How did your Halloween turn out?
Absolutely love those jack-o-lanterns. A great job!
