Eight Months Old

It's been a while since I did a baby update. So today my little guy is eight months old. How time is flying. Remember how eight months ago, I wasn't sure if he was going to live or not and crying and such a mess? Well, we are now at the eight month mark of his life and he couldn't be doing any better. He's such an extremely healthy and happy guy. He's doing fantastic!

He's 16 pounds and 30 inches long now. Growing up so fast. He is now sitting, crawling, standing up, and even took his first six steps while holding onto the furniture. He's going to be walking all by himself very soon. He loves playing with his toys and chewing on everything. He loves baths still and still will not sleep.

Oh how I wish this boy would sleep. He makes me so tired and exhausted. He sleeps maybe 2-4 hours each night and that is it. He wakes up every hour on the hour and takes about 2 hours to get back to bed.

I seriously do not know what to do or how to get him to sleep. I've tried everything. This child just does not like to sleep for nothing. And some days, he has only slept for about 15 mins an entire night.
He's teething bad but he makes me soooo tired.

But anyway, that is my only complaint about him. He's doing great other than that. Very active. He crawls like a fast turbo everywhere and stands up all the time as much as he can. He loves eating too!

  1. I had 3 kids that didn't sleep at night either. I feel your pain but he will. It took mine until they were 2 so hang in there. Nap when you can. He is adorable!!

  7. He is getting so big! Wow, he is sure tall and thin compared to my little one. He's so adorable. I hope he starts sleeping at night soon. My older one was like that and I just kept trying to keep it bright and loud during the day, dark and quiet at night. It took a while for her to get the idea and still at 4 she has a tendency to be a night owl. Drives me nuts!
