Pasta Salad Made My Way

If you guys didn't know this about me before, I am not a cook. I do not like cooking. I do not like anything associated with cooking. In fact, I think I would rather have my left arm chopped off then asked to cook. Yes, it is true. I hate it. But I love baking...and yes, there is a difference. I leave all the cooking up to the husband. He's really good at it and doesn't mind doing it. So it works out!

So I decided I would try an attempt at cooking something. So it's not that big of anything at all, but it was my attempt. I take a bit of credit for trying at least.

So I decided to make an extremely simple version of pasta salad. And here's how I did it:

Ingredients I used:
- one box rotini
- 3/4 bottle of Italian salad dressing
- 1/4 cup of salad supreme seasoning

Step One:
I boiled the water and pasta together like you would normally do.
Nothing fancy there. Just some good ol' boiling!

Step Two:
I then drained out the water once the pasta was complete and then ran cold water over it for a minute as suggested. Then I placed the pasta back into the pot.

Step Three:
I went ahead and poured the Italian dressing on top of the pasta and then mixed it until fully covered and applied over it.

The pasta was now all nice and shiny looking with it's wonderful coat of dressing mixed in.

Step Four
I measured out 1/4 cup of the seasoning spices.

Step Five:
I then poured it into the pasta and mixed it very thoroughly.

Step Six:
Place the pasta in the fridge to cool for at least four hours
Once chilled, you can take it out and serve.

Now I have to say, it didn't taste exactly how I hoped it did. But you know, it was decent for a first attempt. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't the bets either. Next time, I'm going to try and take it up a notch and do some fancier things with it and more additions. But for now..I had to brag I actually went into the kitchen and cooked something
