twenty-nine weeks

FRIDAY 08.31.12

Yesterday I turned 29 weeks. The last of the twenties and next week we will start entering into the home stretch. Only eleven more weeks to go {or less or more..just depends on when the baby is ready}. But for now, it's eleven weeks and counting down.

So this has been a long and exhausting week I must say. I'm so happy for the weekend cause it's Labor Day weekend which means no work on Monday. Hooray for three day weekends. I am hoping to get some sleep since it was very much lacking this week. Like really bad. I'm exhausted.

I'm trying to get things picked up because my best friend is coming into town tomorrow and this house is a mess. It's amazing what a child and a husband can do to a house while I am at work. So I am trying to get this place nice and pretty.

So here is what is happening this week in belly land:

And here is belly photos for this week:

I have a new name now. I'm now referred to as "Roley Poley". Yes, the husband and daughter. Yes, they both laugh at my handicap now since I seems to have to roll around to get up. LOL oh, the joys of having a huge belly. You have to roll around to get going.

How far along? 29 weeks pregnant! (7 months)
Total weight gain/measurements: I gained one pound since last week {+17 all together}
Size Of Baby: Acorn Squash... about 16 inches, 3 pounds
Sleep: Sleep has been absolutely terrible. I have not been able to get more then two hours of sleep a night.
Maternity clothes: I love maternity clothes.
Stretch marks? None so far. Still haven't seen any and never got them with my first pregnancy.
Best moment this week: Honestly, so happy it's finally a long weekend.
Miss anything? Sleep and being able to move and bend over.
Movement: Have felt a little. Not much. It's more pressure I feel. I can always tell where the baby is from the pushing pressure. Not really any kicking this week.
Cravings?: Nope.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I have been getting really sick in the mornings when I'm in the shower.
Labour signs: Nothing really. Been feeling a bit of pressure down there and small sharp pains every now and then. I get them when I'm feeling stressed.
Symptoms: I've been pretty lucky as far as any symptoms. I haven't gotten any of the pregnancy symptoms yet. No swelling, no back aches, no strange hair growth..I've just been getting morning sickness again. That's about all.
Belly button in or out? In
Happy or moody most of the time: Been happy this week but also have been really emotional as well.
Baby related purchases?: So far there hasn't been any. We haven't bought anything yet.
Looking forward to: My best friend coming tomorrow.

Don't forget to check out the poll on my sidebar to vote what you think the baby's gender is going to be. Can't wait to find out!

  4. I had no idea that pregnancy stopped you from getting so much sleep, sorry to hear about that Rebecca, hopefully you'll be able to get at least a bit more from now on or at least once the pregnancy is over. It's kind of cute that your husband has a new name for you too haha, it's great that everything's going so well.

  6. We're entering the home stretch! This is so exciting. :D

It stinks that your morning sickness is coming back... Mine is too a bit, though I seem to be fine as long as I don't eat meat.

  7. You look darling! Haha on the rely poly. I remember after 30 weeks I couldn't sit on one of my sofas because I would get stuck and have to rock back and forth to get out!

  9. You are glowing! I feel you about the being tired and not getting any sleep. With my last two pregnancies I was never able to sleep at night. Thank God I was a SAHM or I would have been in big trouble. After hubby left for work I could usually go back to sleep (nice and comfy all by my lonesome in bed). Stopping by from That Friday Blog Hop. Thanks for letting me co-host! Enjoy your Labor Day and don't stress yourself too much about the house. A true friend won't mind a bit of a mess!
