The Buzz About Me {1}

I wanted to start something a little new today. I love those weekly blog hops that have a few questions about yourself and everyone links up on their blog with a post with their answers and its just so much fun to read about everyone's responses. So I thought a great day to start a weekly one of my own would be today!

I've decided to call it The Buzz About Me and it will be weekly and open for everyone to link up and share.

1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Since I was really little, I always wanted to be an artist. A visual artist and preforming artist.

2. Most people go through several phases in life. What is the one phase you went through that you now look back on and wonder what the hell were you thinking?
I went through almost every phase a person can go through growing up. But i think the one I wonder to myself "why?" was my Goth phase. I have no idea why, it was just the "in" thing to be.

3. Have you ever been in a long distance relationship?
Not really. Pretty much the extent of my "long distance" relationships were the summer of college and going back home for three months. It felt like forever and killed me, but when August rolled around, things were back to normal. Two years ago though, my husband got a job out in Texas and had to be out there for a year and we got to see him once every three months. That was really hard at first, but got easier.

4. What are five inanimate objects can you not live without?
Computer/Internet, iPhone, Mascara, Movies, & a Car

5. Are you superstitious?
I am indeed. I have a big thing with odd numbers and being superstitious about that. When I was younger, I also had a huge superstition that if I did things in a certain order everyday {ie-getting ready for school} and my day was good, I would do that same routine every morning. If something went wrong, I would switch something up until I found "good" again. It made me go a bit insane..lol but I couldn't stop. That's how I thought for most of my life.

6. What is one of your talents?
One of my many, many talents :) is drawing real life portraits. I love drawing people and real life.

7. What is your favorite animal?
Since I was really little, my favorite animal has always been a penguin.

8. Heels or flats?
As much as I like to be comfortable, beauty comes with the price of pain and I love wearing heels. I don't wear them as often anymore, but never pass up the chance to. I think heels are stunning and I feel beautiful in them. No matter the price my feet must take in pain.

9. What's you favorite season?
I'm a summer girl. I love everything about summer {ok, minus the bugs} but everything. I could spend the rest of my life at the beach in the hot sun and be the happiest person ever. Thats why I moved away to Florida when I got the chance :) Summer all year round.

10. Out of all the places you have lived, what has been your favorite?
I have lived in far too many places. My favorite, hands down would have to be Heidelberg, Germany. Its where I grew up and so much history and beauty are there. You don't find anything like that in the US and I wish one day I could go back to my childhood and be there again. Its amazing to be in so much history and culture. Everytime I look at pictures, I get this sick feeling of just how much I want to be back there again.

  2. My hubby showed me what I was doing wrong with the button and I felt so silly! haha. Thanks for following me! I'm excited to do more linky things like this, they are so fun! It is great to find other blogs to follow and share things with too. If you ever get a chance to visit Canada, do it! I lived in the Toronto, Ontario area for a little over 6 months! Loved my time there!

  3. This was fun! Thanks for getting it started. I've always wanted to draw, but I don't think I'll ever be really good. It's just something I have fun with.
