So I am saying Happy Mother's Day to my mother and to myself. I wish I got to see my mother more often then I do or speak to her more then I do, but it's hard when she is over 1000 miles away from me and works crazy hours. I only get to see her once or twice a year for a week when my parents come down to visit and I only can call her on Mondays & Tuesdays {because those are her days off}. But I'm not always as lucky to reach her.
So because I am now a mother {well, I have been now for over 4 years} here is my little tribute:
This is a picture of me and my bug {daughter} one week after she was born{2006}. I held her in my arms as she rested her sweet little face on my shoulder and held her tiny body. It's so hard remembering her being this tiny. She was born on October 19, 2006 at 4:06am weighing 7 lbs 6oz.
And this is a picture of her now. Four years later, 3.5 feet tall and 40 lbs:
Time sure has gone by fast. Looking back through all the pictures, its so hard to even see her as she used to be. She has changed so much and is my perfect little sweetheart. I love her to death and I love being her mommy. I would not give it up for anything now that I see how these 4 years have been. I have loved sharing my world with her.
And as she has been telling me, "Happy Mother's Time"... totally cute, right? She's too silly!
Happy Mother's day! What beautiful memories - and what beautiful pictures!
