I am afraid of losing someone very close to me. I have been very fortunate that I have never had to go to a funeral yet in my life. I have had only a couple of family members die but I was too young to remember.
But I have a huge fear of losing my mom, dad, husband, daughter.... those are the people who are the most closest to me and I don't know what I would do if something like that happened. I know it must come at some point. I just want that time to be when I know they have lived their life to the fullest and in an old age where it would be more comforting to me.
That is everyone's fear I think. I lost my only brother in 2008...very unexpectedly...and it changed everything about my life. We were close.Anyways...I am a new follower.-Miss-http://3beautifulkiddos.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have never been to a funeral. When we were in junior high it seemed that someone in my family was dying like every year. This is a completely rational fear and one I believe to be pretty common. I know I have this fear.

ReplyDeleteI think its common to have that fear...especially of losing a parent or other close family member.I try not to let those fear overtake my thinking and I thank God for each moment I have with my loved ones.
