Autism Awareness #BluePolishSwap Reveal

Hello lovelies! I wanted to share about a nail polish swap  recently participated in with the lovely Aubrey from Dreaming About Someday. The theme of the polish swap was inspired from Autism Awareness Month {April} to raise awareness of those that suffer from it.
So Aubrey put together a little swap get-together to get to know someone and swap blue polish for raising awareness. Since Autism Awareness is centered around the color blue, it was only ideal to make this all about blue polish.
I was paired up with the lovely and fabulous Laurann. She is not a blogger, so I do not have a blog to link to her. But none the less, she is a really sweet person. I was excited to have her as a partner. She really was a very lovely swap buddy that sent me some really nice little goodies for this.

Here is what came in my package from the lovely Miss Laurann:

The color is beautiful. I love the blue. It's bright and very pretty. I have gotten compliments while out shopping over how pretty the color is. So I really adore it. And this is my first time using nail stickers. I had a lot of fun creating a look. There are a lot of stickers so it will be fun to use this several times for future looks as well.

This was a really fun swap and I really had a great time getting to know Laurann and receiving my package from her. She made me a very happy blogger and I'm excited to be adding this polish to my growing collection!

HotMilk Nursing Bra Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
When I saw HotMilk was looking for bloggers to review their nursing bras, I jumped right in on it. I could not wait! As a new mommy again, I am taking full advantage to breastfeeding my baby girl. I sadly, did not own any nursing bras, making it sometimes a bit uncomfortable and annoying to nurse her with just a regular bra.

But not anymore! Thanks to HotMilk. Their website is packed with an assortment of fully cute bras just for nursing your little ones easily and comfortably. They come in lots of different colors, patterns, and sizes too. You are bound to find something that fits your taste.
These are just a few from their site to select. I chose the Serenity nursing bra. It is really a great fit. I really enjoy this because the colors are subtle {you can wear it with anything}. It's lightweight and doesn't feel heavy {unlike some bras I won that feel like you are carrying a boulder around on your shoulders as well as your boobs}. And it has hooks in the front on the straps to unlatch nurse your little one comfortably.

It works so well during the night time feedings. I can either hold my baby or lay down with her and the material is soft enough that it doesn't bother us while she nurses. It has thick straps so you feel the support from it all the way around to the backside.

I really love the pattern as well. It's very feminine and soft. And it doesn't stand out much. It just fits around the sides and back and a bit in the front.

I have to honestly say, I was a bit nervous when I received this because I never used a nursing bra before, I thought the unlatching of the hooks from the front straps would cause an issue or give me problems, but it has been the total opposite. It's super easy to undo and hook back up when you are finished.

I very much recommend this product to any nursing mother looking for a bra to wear during this time in her baby's life. Breast feeding isn't always easy. But with HotMilk's nursing bra, you can have one less thing to worry about.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Mani Monday Link Up

Hello lovely nail fanatics! Another week of Mani Monday is here.
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and now it's time to show off those nails!

This week I was excited because I found a fun polish combo. Julep is known for creating their colors to go with girl's names. So I got totally excited when I saw they had my first name. Sadly, it's no longer on sale on their site but I found someone selling theirs and decided to purchase it. Then I also found my last name as well and purchased that too. So I feel uber special that I have my first and last name in nail polish! Because I'm a dork like that. Now if I can find my middle name, I'd be set!!! That would be pretty cool.

So since my name is Rebecca Hope, I did a fun little mani for Easter using Julep's Rebecca and Julep's Hope. I also am new to using the dotting tool and decided to spruce up my nails by practicing with the dots. Here is what I came up with:

Want to try Julep yourself? Now you can! Get your first box free by taking the style quiz HERE and use code: FREEBOX to get your intro box free!

Play Anywhere's Personalized CD Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I came across Play Anywhere to do a review on their customized audio cds. This site has a lot of fun and great features if you are looking to create a custom music cd for yourself or someone else. Stumped on what you should do? There are tons and tons of ideas they have already planned in case you need a bit of help getting started.

So here is how it works:

Step 1- Select your tunes from our library of over 4 million tunes.
Step 2 - Select your artwork - personalize with your own image or select from ours
Step 3 - Decide who is going to receive it!

So what did I decide to choose with my cd? I thought it would be fun to do something for my oldest daughter who is seven years old right now. I made a cd for when she turns sixteen to give to her at her birthday of all the songs I enjoyed listening to her when I was pregnant during her birth year. So my cd contains songs all from 2006.

The steps in creating the cd were very easy and fast to navigate through. It made it very simple for me since they had playlists sorted by years. So I clicked on the one that was called "2006" and went through their song selection to add to my cart.

I was surprised when it shipped, how fast it came to my doorstep. Seemed to take no time at all. That's something I really love about companies when I order from them. Getting a product fast is always a plus!

So when I opened the cd, I was a bit saddened to see that it hadn't shipped quite as safely as it should have. The cover was cracked as you can see in the photo. Nonetheless, the cd and the insert was in perfect shape. So that's what matters the most. I can always transfer them to a new case. Not a big deal.

It's really fun to go back and listen to some songs that have great memories to go with them. I am sure she will appreciate this cd one day. I think it's a cute gift to give to someone. It's totally personalized to any theme you can come up with. Whether it be a wedding, a new baby, a birthday, or just songs you like to jam out in the car too....there really is no limit what you can do with this. Plus you can either pick out one of their pre-made designs for the cover {like I did} or you can upload your own image.

To try it out for yourself, visit Play Anywhere now!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
