SnoutStik - Keep Your Dog's Nose Healed This Winter

Have you heard of Snoutstik? It's nose balm for your dogs nose. What a crazy, yet really great concept. Not only do us humans get chapped lips, dry noses and skin.... but animals do too. Even those that we care about such as our pets.

Don't let the winter keep your dog's nose dry and chapped. That would be so uncomfortable and make them miserable. Try Snoutstik instead. One thing I look for in any product that I use for myself, my family, and yes...even my pets is that it is organic, natural, and safe. This product has all those things which is wonderful. Pets are so much more sensitive and we need to be careful what we give to them. This product is worry-free!

Snoutstik was created to help alleviate dry dog noses, caused by allergies, age, heredity, or exposure to the elements.  Snoutstik hydrates, heals and protects naturally.
Snoutstik is organic and made with 100% natural ingredients.  The packaging is environmentally friendly.

Over 35% of dogs suffer from dry noses.  Breeds such as Bulldogs and Pugs are genetically prone to having dry noses.  Snoutstik’s core combination of healing sunscreens including Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba Seed Oil provide natural relief from pain.  The “stick-style” packaging is modeled after the human ChapStick dispenser making this product easy to use and convenient to carry.

Comes in 3 varieties with these benefits.

ROSEMARY - FOR SOOTHING INFLAMMATION A natural disinfectant; soothes and reduces inflammation and treats bacterial and fungal infections.
LAVENDER - FOR GENTLE NOSE CARE A clean, fresh scent and calming, balancing properties; provides ultra-gentle skin care and can be applied to irritated, itchy spots as a healing aid.

Peanut Butter Brownie Recipe

With the holidays here, everyone seems to be baking up a storm. I love to bake. But what I love to bake the most are my special and oh-so famous Peanut Butter Brownies. Now, I say mine but it's not my recipe. However, I've been baking these for so long that everyone knows them as "the thing I bring to all the holiday parties".

They are a huge hit and everyone loves them. Now, I'm going to share the secret with you! And your friends and family will be saying to you, "OMG so yummy!" Seriously, no lie. These are ah-ma-zing!

I have to say, I love them fresh out of the oven all gooey. They taste super awesome hot and gooey. But you can cool them and cut them into squares as well.

DIY Make Your Own Lipstick

Hi everyone! I wanted to share a really fun, and super simple easy DIY tutorial today for Makeup Monday over at Agape Love with Maria. My daughter and I had came across this while just playing around on the internet and it looked like a whole lot of fun. So we decided to try it for ourselves.

So check out our video below on how to make your own custom lipstick using only two ingredients that you probably already have in your home. In our video, we made a couple different colors. But afterwards, we used almost the entire crayon box and made a ton of awesome new and crazy cool lipsticks that actually really work.

One thing I must say is that if your lipstick starts to appear to be a little dry when applying, just add some coconut oil to your finger and rub it into the lipstick. It will bring the moisture back to it.

My eight year old daughter loves this project and always wants to keep making more. We made a black lipstick as well and it looks so awesome. Perfect for Halloween!

Have you made your own lipstick? Was it a success? What colors did you try to combine? Have a beauty post to share? Click the button below to link up with Makeup Monday

ICustomLabel Review + Giveaway

If anyone knows me, they know I am a big fan of wine! Love wine. I think is goes good with everything. So when I was given the opportunity to review custom wine labels from ICustomLabel, that was just awesome. How cool of a site to create your own custom wine labels?

Tell me wine just isn't the answer to everything. Go on, tell me. Wine totally is a great social drink. Not to mention, one of the most popular gifts during the holiday season. What better way to brighten someone's holiday than with a bottle of wine and a beautiful label stuck to it?

Now you don't have to give just a boring bottle of wine. Make it sassy with an awesome label. And even more snazzy with a custom label. So when my labels arrived, I couldn't wait to give it a try. But first I needed a bottle of wine. I was plum out and had to go grab some from the store.

One of my favorite wines is from a local brewery just about the next town over from me. I couldn't find my usual flavor, so I went with a different one that I hadn't tried yet. I grabbed my bottles and was on my way out.

So for this, I will be using Les Bourgeois's "Riverboat Red" wine to try out the labels on. Since I think these would be fabulous as gifts. The labels came with simple instructions on what types of bottles were preferred and not preferred to be used on. Which is a good reference tool so you aren't wasting the labels on bottles that won't look right on.
I was given three different designs to try out and place on my bottles. Which all these designs rocked and I would totally use any of them for gift giving. My absolute favorite though was the "Eat Drink And Be Merry" label.
So then I went and placed each one on my wine bottles carefully. I honestly don't know why I was so excited, but they looked so cool and snazzy and sassy afterwards. I really loved how it turned the ordinary bottle into something pretty dressed up for the holidays.
So if you are looking for a personalized or fun label for the holidays, or any event for that matter, check out ICustomLabel and see for yourself their low prices and great labels.

Now one lucky reader gets a chance to win their own custom labels. Enter below for your chance to win!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Colour Strokes Brow Tint Lift w/ Lash Enhancing Serum Review

I recently got the chance to try out Lashem's Colour Strokes Brow Tint Lift w/ Lash Enhancing Serum. I was pretty excited to see if I would like it. This product promises to
I received the product in a really nice packaged box. It had a sort of smooth, velvet feel. I really can't describe it, but it was honestly pretty cool. The graphics were very nice and it just presented itself in a very fashionable sense.
Once I opened the box, the product tube itself was very impressive. I loved the shiny chrome colored tube.
When I opened the tube, it looked exactly like mascara. I thought that was pretty cool. But I had no idea really how to apply it. So I just decided to play around and try it on my eyebrows.
I received the one in the color Raven. I wanted that one because I like my brows to be dark. And since that was their darkest color, I thought it would be a good match to try. I also received a sample of the Picture Perfect Hydrating Serum and the 3-in-1 Eye Bright Serum to try out. So I decided to try all three out for this review.

So here are the before and after photos....

I was hoping for the shade to be a bit darker. The raven seemed to be a more caramel brown color, as you can see above on the photo of the wand out of the tube.. But that was ok. It actually dried darker and still blended in nicely. It went on wet and dried pretty quick. It seemed to fill in the gaps and make more thinner hairs look fuller.
It seems like if you have thicker brows, it would be easier to apply. Since I had shaped mine to be a bit thinner, I had to wipe off some of the access that went onto my skin. But that wasn't a big issue at all.

Right now you can buy the Lashem's Colour Strokes Brow Tint Lift w/ Lash Enhancing Serum at a 30% discount just by using code BROW30BB
So if you need a new way to spruce up your brows, I would say try this out.

From Bridesmaid Dress To Weekend Outfit

How many times have you heard someone say, "I'll never be able to wear that dress again" while being a bridesmaid in a wedding? But those days are over. Nowadays, bridesmaids dresses are not what they used to be. There is literally thousands of cool, fun, fresh, modern styles to choose from. The hard part is picking one. But what happens after the wedding?

Let's face it. We all know that weddings do not come cheap. No matter how small of detail. I know many brides out there were like me. Trying to find everything that was perfect, but very much affordable and in my budget. It would have been great to be a billionaire while wedding planning. But the reality was, I wasn't. So I had to be smart.

I wanted my bridesmaids to look great. I wanted them to feel great. I didn't want them to be put into some dress they hated and would never wear again. Why spend so much money on a dress that they didn't love as well? They were the ones having to look at that dress for the rest of the time they owned it.

I let my girls choose their own dresses. I know not every bride does that, but a lot also do. So what happens to that dress? Shouldn't it be able to be a dress that can be worn again, and not just for a wedding? Of course it should be. My bridesmaids dresses were black. I chose black for my wedding because it was a very classic color that complimented any other color and I wouldn't have to look back on my wedding and see photos of the dresses and think to myself, "what was I thinking of choosing those colors?"

If I were a bridesmaid right now and I was given the option to choose my own dress, I would probably go with something like the Alfred Sung D596 dress from Weddington Way
This dress screams classic to me. And not only that, it also seems to be flattering to a lot of different body types. Plus, I always am thinking, "what could I do with this dress afterwards? How could I wear this dress out and it not look like it belongs in a wedding?"
This dress would be fun to spruce up into a fun weekend outfit. Black and red are pretty popular this time of year. Taking the basic bridesmaid dress and accessorizing it with a red belt around the waist. Let's not forget the jacket. A fun pattern to give it some character.

Pull back that hair in a loose ponytail that says stylish, yet flirty and fun. Strike up a bit of sass with a sleek headband. Grab a bracelet and your favorite pair of sunglasses. Let's not forget the shoes. Comfortable shoes are key to going out. Flats are perfect because they can say comfort while making the dress more casual and less formal.

A fun hat and purse will really make the dress less "wedding" like. Finally, snap on a fun case onto your phone and grab that sassy umbrella and you are on your way from "bridesmaid" to "watch out weekend, here I come!"

There are so many ways to make a formal affair dress into something you can wear again. The possibilities are endless. What combinations would you go with to change a bridesmaids dress into something you could rock the town in?
