The smoke from the field fire right near my job. I took this photo in the parking lot at work and driving through it, the smoke goes straight into your lungs and I swear, I was choking to death trying to get home. Not cool

My poor kitty is growing up and is now in heat. Yes. Oh my goodness…. this looks as though it will be very very bad. I’ve never had a female cat that wasn’t spayed before. I’ve always had male cats and they were all neutered.
Seven has been our first cat whom hasn’t ben fixed and now she is around 8.5 - 9 months old and just started acting super strange two days ago.
So I googled “is your cat in heat” and sure enough, what I read and saw in pictures, she is. Dammit. I don’t wanna go through a crazed PMS cat spraying everything. That scares both of us.
So now Seven is crazy. Everytime I go near her, she throws her butt in the air and does a “walking in place” type thing with her back legs and she keeps wanting me to scratch her all the time and pet her.
I tried to pick her up and she would normally roll up in a ball
in my arms. Now, she is as stiff as a board and just strange and crazy. So now I have to go get her spayed. Damn cat and her hormones. I think we just need to get her a boyfriend..lol
Me and my daughter went for a walk this evening while she pushed her doll stroller and walking by in our community, I saw this on one of the neighbors doors and snapped a shot of it. I though it seemed to somehow show a bit of the beauty in just what freedom stands for and represents. The beauty of the American life.
And I snapped this as well in our neighborhood because I thought the view was beautiful. I have always liked having this gazebo in our community. My daughter loved playing in it as we walked by. I am also using this one as my Favorite Photo of the Week in the challenge

This week's theme is Memorial Day Weekend
I decided because everyone would have an array of things they did this weekend, why not share? So you can post anything relating to what you have done this weekend to celebrate.
Here is mine:
We spent Saturday in southern Florida at my nephew's birthday party at a state park. It was hot but lots of fun. The kids all ran around with water guns and had a great time. My daughter loved it. The theme of his party was Dinosaur Train.
Link up your weekend pictures below:
I decided to head over to Chelsey’s blog for her self portrait challenge.
The suggested prompt is "number" so my number is the number 29 {my age..shhhh}
This is the second week of the “Edit Me Photo Challenge”
The original photo taken   ;  This was a fun before/after approach:
And this is my edit made to photo in full:
The photo reminded me of a scene from the Civil War times. Just that kind of life and time so I decided to make it that “old” photo look with a texture added

We just got an Xbox Kinect this weekend and love it. It’s the best thing. The Wii is really lame now compared to this. I don’t see myself ever touching the Wii again now.
So my four year old was testing out the bowling on the sports game and she played all by herself and this was a photo of her score board at the end.
She got a freaking 180. A four year old who hadn’t played before bowled a 180. I was soooo proud. I asked daddy if he helped her at all and he said no. He was doing some work on his computer and wasn’t helping her play. She did it all by herself. So I had to take a photo of this moment.
Now, the reason this makes me completely excited is because I am like pro bowler all the way. I was on a bowling league for almost 10 years and bowling was my life growing up. I own my own balls and shoes and the whole nine yards. That is my sport and I was hella good. Winning awards, trophies, plaques… you name it. Always at bowling tournaments. Loved it. So cool.
Now I feel she is the child prodigy and taking after her mama and now I want to get her right into bowling so she can be as good as I was!!!

That’s right. Take A Photo Tuesday Blog Hop!

So congrats and grab your button for being this week’s winner!

I have been laughing the last few days over everyone talking about the end of the world and such. I am not religious nor do I actually believe in religion, God, Heaven, Hell….etc. None of that . So from a few articles, blogs, stories…I had read, all made me laugh. Some people took all this way too extreme.

I read a few cases where people were stocking up on everything in stores as if it were a hurricane coming. But if they believed “God” was going to come save them and take them away, would you really need ten cases of toilet paper shacked up with you?
I’m not sure if people in “heaven” have to take a dump but it sounds like the Pharaohs of Egypt and how they thought when they wanted to be buried with all their personal belongings to take with them to the afterlife. Although, if I were going anywhere “holy”, I don’t think TP would be something on the list to bring with me. But you know, that’s just me.
I also read another story about how a lady took her family into the basement and read the entire bible non-stop trying to become “saved” before the rapture.
If I were her kids, I would have been pissed to be missing out on my weekend because my mom thought the world would be zombies and they were waiting for “God”. I hope those kids kicked her ass for being so stupid. Can you tell how annoyed with this whole “The rapture is coming” crap?
I’m so over it. No one turned into a zombie… I don’t think. I haven’t checked everywhere but I went to Target, Walmart and Best Buy and so far, I haven't seen any out and about. Maybe they like to stay indoors during the daylight hours. Who knows… they could be picky.

But just in case, here is instructions in case you come across one. Trying to help everyone out. Information on killing zombies can come to good use one day. Just not today.
So in conclusion, here is a message that pretty much sums up how I feel about all this “world will end / Armageddon” crap:
Wow…..now that I was finally about to get that all out. LOL ok…goodnight everyone. Sweet dreams and remember to smile if you see a zombie. And if you see anyone who believed in this crap, just blow them away. Its not considered a crime to shoot the stupid. :o) At least it shouldn't be anyway
